On June 26,
2000, C-cation (NY), Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary, formed a joint venture
for the greater Asia region with one of the premier telecommunications
development and manufacturing companies in China, the China Academy of
Telecommunications Technology/Datang Telecom Technology and Industry Group (http://www.catt.ac.cn/). Datang
boasts international recognition as one of the top four telecom technology
companies in China. It has a publicly traded subsidiary, manufacturing
facilities with ISO 9000 certification, employment of more than 7,000
personnel. Leveraging on C-cation’s patented technology and Datang’s position
and experience in the telecommunications field, on January 4, 2001, our joint
venture company, known as Renaissance Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd.
(RenTech), conducted successful BETA trials in China. |

In 2004,
C-cation and the Center for Advanced Technologies of Telecommunication (CATT)
at Polytechnic University entered into an agreement to collaborate on QoS
mechanisms in the 802.11 arena. Our company is currently also actively
participating in several areas of the IEEE 802.11 standard-making process,
including TGs, and is an active member of TGn Sync. |
